The Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute (EFLI) promotes leadership in young women through self-empowerment, connection with others and activism in their communities. Since 2010, EFLI has served over 3,000 young people in the Westchester County community and beyond. The program is rooted in the philosophy that we can all be designers of our own lives and is based on the EILEEN FISHER Inc. practices of connection, creativity, confidence and community. At EFLI, we encourage participants to find and proclaim their authentic voice, explore their passions, and engage as agents of change in their communities.

EFLI is seeking facilitators to join our creative and collaborative team. Facilitators are an integral part of all programs, working closely with the Core Team to nurture the personal growth of participants and to support them in cultivating their own philosophies of success. EFLI is currently hiring facilitators for several different positions for Summer 2017. More information on available positions are outlined below.

Workshop Facilitators can join EFLI as an individual or as an organizational partner for workshops ranging from one to eight hours, depending on the workshop content and program needs. Workshop Facilitators support and expand upon EFLI's core curriculum with creative and interactive workshops that are self-conceptualized, developed and facilitated. These workshops help program participants to develop a new skill, try new things, access their creativity and explore themselves and their passions. Ideal candidates will have a specialized passion or interest that they are excited to share with youth, a dedication to EFLI's mission and philosophy, and meet the qualifications for facilitators outlined below.

Workshop Facilitators will develop an understanding of EILEEN FISHER leadership practices and EFLI core values. NY Residential Program and Westchester-based Program Workshop Facilitators will also have the opportunity to participate in EFLI facilitator trainings at the beginning of and throughout the summer. Workshop Facilitators are expected to submit a proposal for an 8 hour, 3 hour, or 1.5 hour workshop that engages young women in a personal passion while supporting their leadership development. As a Workshop Facilitator, you will work closely with the core facilitation team and a LiFe Fellow (program alumna and peer leader) to develop curriculum, give and receive feedback, and bolster the Fellow’s understanding of facilitation.

This is a temporary position with opportunities for continued involvement throughout the year.

EFLI is seeking a Lead Facilitator to become a part of our developing community. At EFLI, we foster a space where young women can find their truest selves and connect with each other beyond everyday encounters. The EFLI Lead Facilitator will add to the program team in profound and meaningful ways, sharing their gifts and serving the community in fulfillment of their own life purpose. The Lead Facilitator will engage part-time in program development during spring 2017 and play an integral, full-time role in facilitating and holding the space for summer 2017 programming. Ideal candidates will have a dedication to EFLI’s mission and philosophy, an enthusiastic work ethic, and meet the qualifications for facilitators outlined below.

The Lead Facilitator will develop an understanding of EILEEN FISHER leadership practices, EFLI core values, and EFLI current core curriculum by participating in EFLI facilitator trainings at the beginning of and throughout the summer. In addition to summer programming, the Lead Facilitator will work with the Program Director and Core Team in the Spring to plan, execute, and evaluate curriculum and yearly program offerings. As a Lead Facilitator, you will hold interviews for program applicants and will complete any additional work that is consistent with an understanding of EFLI’s mission, vision, role, and goals.
